
Asia-Pacific Research Center
Founded in 1939, Hanyang University is a private research institute based in Seoul, South Korea.
The University, through its Asia-Pacific Research Center (APRC) holds a lengthly history of research into the Eurasian region, commencing in 1974 through its predecessor, the Institute for Sino-Soviet Studies (ISSS). Over the decades, the APRC has progressively broadened its research areas to the major Asia-Pacific countries and developed into one of the most distinguished research and education institutes in the Asian continent.
